Since it’s debut in the fall of 2009 The CW’s The Vampire Diaries has held the love and devotion of millions of fans around the world and it’s popularity still grows. With a trio of hot stars and some of the most exciting writing in television, TVD has proven to be both a critical and commercial success and now production on the latest award winning season is about to begin shooting right here in Atlanta. Casting calls for a number of excellent roles will be starting as well and interested local actors of all ages can apply today for a chance to get in one the fun and make their break on the drama series that has everyone talking.

The Vampire DIaries tells the intriguing story of the Salvatore Brothers, Damon and Stefan, a pair of eternally ageless vampires who return to their hometown where their transformation began. The two soon take notice of the beautiful local Elena and the rest, as they say, is televsion history. Starring the supremely talented Nina Dobrev (The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Degrassi: The Next Generation, The Roommate), Ian Somerhalder (Lost, The Rules of Attraction, Tell Me You Love Me) and Paul Wesley (Army Wives, 24, Roll Bounce) and featuring more twists, turns, romances and surprises than any show on primetime today, it’s easy to see why this series is so beloved and easy to see why this will be one of the most in demand audition opportunities of the year.
